J. Michael Kelly drove his U-12 “Graham Trucking” unlimited hydroplane to victory in the Columbia Cup after holding off his nearest competitor, Andrew Tate in the U-1 “Delta/Real Track” for five laps on the Columbia River’s 2-1/2 mile race course on Sunday. After going four for four in heat wins, Jimmy Shane and the U-6 “Miss HomeStreet” finished 3rd. The other Miss Madison, Inc entry, U-1918 “Oberto Super Salami.” And Jeff Bernard finished 4th. The fleet heads now to Lake Washington in Seattle for Seafair’s HomeStreet Bank Cup.

Former Madison standout who is currently an assistant golf coach at the University of Louisville, Justin Tereshko finished in a 5-way tie for 17th with a 280, 10 strokes back of the winner, in the 61st Porter Cup at the Niagara Falls Country Club in New York.
