Trimble Co. To Attempt To Save Football

Shane's perfect weekend goes by the wayside

Trimble County High School is trying to save it's football season. Last week superintendent Steve Miracle made the decision to cancel the season, since only nine players were showing up for practice. After a social media outcry, an emergency meeting was called for Friday night at the school.  Trimble Co. will give it another go this morning as players interested in playing need to show up for practice at 8:00. Players must have a KHSAA physical to participate.. A decision will be made by noon on Monday as to whether we will field a team. the bare minimum to fill a team is 18 players according to Miracle.
