Girls Basketball:

Congratulations to Jade Nutley (Madison), Addyson Kent (Jennings County), Paige Ledford (Jac-Cen-Del), Alayna Striverson (Silver Creek), Jaclyn Emly (Siler Creek), Marissa Gasaway (Silver Creek), Zoe Zellers (Scottsburg), and Kyla Maxwell (East Central). These eight ladies have voted upon by the Hoosier Basketball Coaches Association to be recognized as the best senior players in Southern Indiana.

Only about half of these players will be invited to play at the Annual All-Star Classic after HBCA members vote on the Regional All-Star ballots.

Second Round of Sectional Play:

Madison 50, North Harrison 46

Silver Creek 60, Charlestown 41

Madison and Silver Creek will go head to head on Friday, January 5.

Carroll County girls beat Newport with the final score of 61 to 30. The Panthers are now 4-7 in their season. Tonight, they will be taking on Williamstown beginning at 6:00 p.m. JV/ 7:30 p.m. Varsity.
