Shawe Memorial finally returned to action Thursday night as they hosted sectional opponent New Washington.  The Hilltoppers were victorious winning 11-6.  Jacob Hertz started on the mound and went the distance allowing 6 runs 5 earned while striking out 5 and only walking one.  At the plate , Hertz had 4 hits 1 double and 2 RBIs. Tyler Hill had 2 hits and 2 RBIs. Ryker Brooks, Zach Gish and Casey Hill eached had 2 hits and an RBI..  Philip Kahn added a single and 2 RBIs. 

GOLF: 

Southwestern Boys Golf picked up the win tonight at home (Butler Falls Golf Course) over Austin and Shawe with a team score of 157 (Austin 183, Shawe NTS). Jackson Taylor was the medalist for the match tonight, shooting even par of 35. Wyatt Barker placed 3rd with a 39 and Blake Boley (40) and Wayde Barker (43) rounded out the top five. I am really proud of our team tonight. We accomplished many of our goals and are moving in a positive direction as we look to close out our season over the next few weeks.
