After advancing thru the local and sectional PHR competitions host by the Madison Parks Department in April and May, Kennedy competed in the girls 9-10 year old division Saturday morning June 15 at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati and placed First.

Kennedy, the daughter of Jeff and Kattie Rowlett of Madison and who will be a 6th grader this school year, now awaits word from Major League Baseball to see if her score qualifies her for a trip to the All Star game in Cleveland next month.
