HANOVER, Ind. – The Women's Basketball Coaches Association announced the NCAA Division III 2025 Women's Collegiate All-Star Team presented by the WBCA Monday afternoon. Senior Grace Bezold (Covington, Ky.) will represent Hanover College as part of team LaHaye.
"It is a great honor for Grace to be selected to the All Star game. This selection is a reflection of her hard work during the season and most importantly her work in the off-season," praised head coach John Jones. "Grace was selected by coaches outside of the HCAC and Region 8, who recognized her abilities. She is the true definition of a student-athlete. I want to congratulate Grace and her teammates who helped make this possible."
The all-stars were chosen by a committee composed of head women's basketball coaches of NCAA Division III programs, all of whom are members of the WBCA. All players were nominated by WBCA member coaches.
The 20 all-stars are divided into two 10-member teams for the game. Dixie Jeffers, retired head coach of Capital University in Columbus, Ohio, and Carroll LaHaye, retired head coach of Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Virginia, will coach the teams.
Bezold was named the 2024-25 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Year as well as a First Team selection. In all of NCAA Division III, Bezold ranks third in field goals (237), ), fifth in total points (606), fifth in field goals attempted (502), eighth in points per game (23.3), 14th in free throws attempted (176), 18th in total free throws (127), 32nd in defensive rebounds per game (7.4), and tied for 37th in double-doubles (11).
Grace won six HCAC Athlete of the Week honors this season including a USBWA Division III Women's Basketball National Athlete of the Week accolade.
The 2025 Women's Collegiate All-Star Game presented by the WBCA will be played at 1:00 PM, Saturday, March 22, preceding the NCAA Division III women's basketball national championship game in the Cregger Center on the campus of Roanoke College in Salem, Virginia.
