Despite Loss Panthers Clinch At Least A Tie For HCAC Regular Season Title

Women also secure number three seed.

Despite a loss last night to Mt. St. Joseph the Hanover men’s team clinched at least a tie for the HCAC regular season conference title. Panthers fell 70-69 to the Lions but Rose-Hulman and Transylvania also fell for Hanover to hold on to a one game lead with one game left. Issac Hibbard led the Panthers with 17 points and Ryan Cloncs returned after missing four games with a injury, added 11.

 

Junior Alexis Nall scored 30 points and added 20 rebounds as the Hanover women’s team closed out the regular season home season with a 74-61 win over Mt. St. Joseph. Panthers assured themselves the number 3 seed in next week’s conference tournament.

 

Both teams travel to Defiance to close out the regular season on Saturday.
