Trimble Co. defeats Brown 75-60. Reece Webster and Grant Weaver 19 each for the Raiders

Assumption over Christian Academy of Madison 43-36 snapping the Defenders five game winning streak. Trent Haggard with 12 points for CAM

 

HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS BASKETBALL:

Shawe defeats Christian Academy of Indiana 31-26. Grace McAllister with 14 points to lead Shawe.  Lady Hilltopper, Kate Grote who tore her ACL two weeks ago said "Tonight was my last game. I'm ready to sit on the bench and cheer on my team." Grote played till her knee gave out and scored three points and will finish her career with 1, 244 points, 57 points shy of Claire Higgins' school record.

Southwestern defeated 1A Trinity Lutheran 41-31. Abby Ralston 19 points, Bella Marcum 14 to lead the Lady Rebels,

Switzerland Co. over Rising Sun 54-37

North Harrison snapped Madison’s four game winning streak with a 64-54 win over the Lady Cubs. Paige Young career-high 24 points, Jade Nutley 21 points, to lead Madison.

Owen Co. defeats Carroll Co. 50-33

 

HIGH SCHOOL SWIMMING:

Madison swept Batesville winning 102-66 (boys) and 87-61 (girls).

 

Southwestern boy’s basketball remains #1 in class 2A receiving 13 of the 15 first place votes.
