FRIDAY, OCTOBER 25th:

IHSAA FOOTBALL SECTIONAL:

Madison falls to Greenwood 61-0. Cubs end the season at 1-9

Paoli over Switzerland Co. 66-7. Pacers end the season at 5-5

 

FOOTBALL FRIDAY NIGHT:

Carroll Co. secures the #2 seed in the 2A 5th District with a 54-0 win over Gallatin Co. Panthers will take on #3 seed Owen Co. at home in the first game of the post-season on Friday, November 8th. Owen Co. defeats Shawnee 63-8. #1 seed Walton-Verona will host #4 seed Gallatin Co. in the other district post-season game.

 

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 26th:

IHSAA CROSS COUNTRY SEMI-STATE:

Southwestern's Gavyn Mundt places 122 and teammate Trevor Smith 124

Shawe's Calli Alderman 51, Switzerland County;s Grace White 68 and Madison's Brett Cahall 105.

 

KHSAA CROSS COUNTRY REGIONAL:

Trimble Co. captures the Class A Region 5 boys title with Carroll Co. finishing 10th. Jessup Smith finished 2nd and Matthew Craig 3rd for the Raiders. Justin Williams was Carroll County's top runner in 57th.

Trimble Co. girls finished 2nd overall in the regional with Rebecca Kainer taking 2nd. Carroll County's  Sarah Marshall was 16th.

HANOVER COLLEGE ATHLETICS:

Women's Soccer ties Anderson in 2 overtimes 1-1

Football defeats Manchester 56-7. Panthers now 4-0 in the HCAC and 6-1 overall with the Mt. St. Joseph loss to Rose Hulman Hanover currently has sole possession of 1st in the HCAC. Panthers also held the #3 leading rusher in the nation in DIII football, Donavan Henderson, Jr. to only 32 yards on the afternoon.

Volleyball falls to Rose Hulman 3-0

Men's Soccer defeats Anderson 2-0
