HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS BASKETBALL:

Trimble Co. falls to Williamstown 46-30. Shelby Wilcoxson 16 for the Lady Raiders

Madison picks up a HHC win over Columbus East 79-66. Jade Nutley 28 for the Lady Cubs. Madison has now won 6 out of their last 7 games and 4 in a row

Carroll Co. over Eminence 53-49

 

HIGH SCHOOL BOYS BASKETBALL:

Trimble Co. over Williamstown 82-64. Evan Stevens 24, Reece Webster 22 for the Raiders

Carroll Co. falls to Iroquois 43-38

 

HIGH SCHOOL SWIMMING:

Southwestern girls go 4-0 in a five-team dual meet. Lady Rebels defeat Henryville 94-31, Scottsburg 83-68, South Ripley 94-53 and Switzerland Co. 79-66. Southwestern boys also go 4-0 with wins over South Ripley 64-8, Scottsburg 60-27, Henryville 64-34 and Switzerland Co. 60-12.

Switzerland Co. girls go 2-2 with wins over Henryville 89-35 and South Ripley 84-64. Lady Pacers lost to Southwestern and Scottsburg 80-70. Switzerland Co. boys were 0-3-1 with their tie against South Ripley 12-12, Pacers falls to Scottsburg 32-12, Henryville 49-12 and Southwestern.  

 

HIGH SCHOOL WRESTLING:

Madison goes 2-3 at Milan. Cubs defeats New Washington and Switzerland Co., fall to Columbus East, Jennings Co. and Milan.

 

HANOVER COLLEGE:

Women's basketball picked up a win over Franklin 91-66. Maleha Motter picked up her 13th double-double game with 26 points and 13 rebounds. Alexis Nall added 18, former Madison Cub, Katie Hartman 17 and Claire Cromer 13. Panthers move to 12-5 on the season and 8-2 in the HCAC

Men's basketball stays in a tie for first with Rose Hulman in the HCAC as the Panthers defeat Franklin 62-54. Cam Fails 24 to lead Hanover. Panthers now 13-4 on the season and 8-2 in the conference.
