IHSAA GIRLS BASKETBALL SECTIONALS:

@ Lawrenceburg (Semi-finals) Madison falls to Lawrenceburg 41-39. Lady Tigers will take on #8 Greensburg Monday for the Championship

@ South Decatur (Championship) Switzerland Co. falls to South Ripley 55-29. Lady Raiders advance to the regional on Saturday at Paoli and will take on Evansville Mater Dei at 10am

 

BOYS HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL:

Madison falls to Batesville 73-69. Cooper Yancey 17 for the Cubs

GIRLS HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL:

Carroll Co. falls to Lloyd Memorial 53-52

 

HIGH SCHOOL WRESTLING REGIONAL:

Southwestern's Cameron Canada finished 4th in the 120, Adam Anderson was 2nd in the 145, Micheal Cline 4th in the 152. Madison's Tucker Adams 4th in the 220. The top four place winners in each weight class advance to the semi-state tournament.

 

HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS SWIMMING SECTIONAL:

Madison's Valeria Gonzalez took first in the Girls 50 Yard Freestyle with a time of 24.02 and the 100 Yard Butterfly in a time of 58.04 to advance to the Girls State Finals. 

 

HANOVER COLLEGE:

Women's Basketball over Anderson 86-54. Maleha Motter 21 and Alexis Nall with a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Savanna Courtney added 12 for Hanover.

Men's Basketball fall at Anderson 79-74 as their eight game winning streak comes to an end. Despite the loss, the Panthers (16-5) still hold a one-game lead in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference standings with four games left. Cam Fails 29 points for Hanover.
