HIGH SCHOOL VOLLEYBALL:

Jac-Cen-Del defeats Shawe 3-0. (18-25, 21-25, 20-25)

North Oldham over Trimble Co. 3-0. (25-8, 25-8, 25-8)

Carroll Co. falls to Williamstown 3-0. (25-10, 25-13, 25-8)

Salem over Southwestern 3-0. (14-25, 20-25, 28-30)

Shawe’s 7th and 8th grade teams both defeated Austin 2-0

 

HIGH SCHOOL BOYS SOCCER:

Madison dominates Scottsburg 6-2. Carson Denton scores 4 goals for the Cubs. 

 

HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS GOLF:

Southwestern shot a 209 to win a three-team match with Henryville and Silver Creek. Henryville shot a 218 and Silver Creek 243. Lady Rebel Kristin Consley was co-medalist with a 48.

 

HIGH SCHOOL CROSS COUNTRY:

Madison girls finished 5th in the Hokum Karem race hosted by Silver Creek.  Brett Cahall and Clare Wilber lead the Lady Cubs with a 3rd place finish for the second straight year. Madison’s boys finished 8th.

Southwestern's cross country teams sweep the Switzerland Co. Invitational. Trevor Smith led the Rebels who finished 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 6th. Ashton Goode led the Lady Rebels who finished 4th, 5th, 7th, 8th and 9th. Shawe's Calli Alderman won the girls race. Trapper Johnson was 9th for the Toppers in the boy’s race. Alisha Detmer 2nd to lead Switzerland Co. and Nathan Furnish 8th for the boys.
