Winter Storm Warning In Effect Until 1:00 PM Tuesday

Total snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches are expected.

(Madison, Ind) – A major winter storm is expected beginning last night until Tuesday, February 16.

This winter storm system will be bringing two waves of precipitation to the region, therefore, putting the area under a winter storm warning until 1:00 p.m. Tuesday. 1 to 3 inches of snow will be expected from Monday afternoon through Tuesday morning. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches are expected.

Southcentral Indiana and central Kentucky along and north of the Bluegrass and Western Kentucky Parkways. Travel will be difficult, and drivers should use caution.

Areas affected are:

Anderson, Breckinridge, Bullitt, Butler, Clark, Crawford, Dubois, Floyd, Franklin, Grayson, Hancock, Hardin counties, Harrison, Henry, Jefferson, Meade, Nelson, Ohio, Oldham, Orange, Perry, Scott, Shelby, Spencer, Trimble, and Washington.
