Weather And Road Conditions Believed To Have Caused Fatal Switzerland Co. Accident

Two vehicle accident

Switzerland Co. Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a fatal two vehicle accident Sunday on SR 156 near Tapps Ridge involving 37-year-old Scott R. Griffin of Vevay and 28-year-old Scott P. Hilligoss also of Vevay.

Hilligoss died as a result of the accident while Griffin was taken to Kings Daughters Hospital.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation, but it is believed that weather and road conditions played a factor.
