Wanted on a Jennings County Circuit Court Arrest Warrant

Deputies with the Jennings County Sheriff’s Office went to an address in Commiskey in the evening hours of July 5, 2021 in an attempt to locate Chad Thompson (36 of Commiskey). Mr. Thompson was wanted on a Jennings County Circuit Court Arrest Warrant for two counts of intimidation (Level 5 Felony), pointing a firearm at another person (Level 6 Felony) and domestic battery committed in the presence of a minor (Level 6 Felony).
Upon arrival at the Commiskey address, Deputies located Mr. Thompson attempting to hide in a bathroom in the basement of the home. Mr. Thompson was taken into custody without incident. Further investigation led Deputies to the discovery of Methamphetamine, Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia. Mr. Thompson was also found to be in violation of a protective order. Mr. Thompson was transported to the Jennings County Jail where he is currently being held on a $5,000 full cash bond on the Warrant as well as a $3,155 bond on the following charges:
-Possession of Methamphetamine- Level 6 Felony
-Invasion of Privacy- A misdemeanor
-Possession of Paraphernalia- C Misdemeanor
-Possession of Marijuana- B Misdemeanor
