According to the police, once Bowling was detained, she gave a false name and birthday to officers.

(North Vernon, Ind.) - On May 6, officers with the North Vernon Police Department arrested a wanted person after responding to a shoplifting complaint at the North Vernon Walmart.
The event began when officers responded to a report of a shoplifter who employees at Walmart had tried to detain after noticing suspicious activity at the self check out area. Employees allege that the suspect, 41-year-old Rebecca Bowling, of North Vernon, selected $210 worth of merchandise however only scanned and paid for $78 worth.
Before the arrival of the police, Bowling has fled the store. Officers were able to locate the vehicle Bowling fled in a short distance away and stopped it.
According to the police, once Bowling was detained, she gave a false name and birthday to officers. Once Bowling's true identity was known, officers discovered that she had an active warrant issued out of Jackson County for a probation revocation. She was also found to be in possess of a small amount of methamphetamine.
It was also found that the driver of the vehicle Bowling fled in, 45-year-old Bradley J. Oldham, of North Vernon, had a suspended license with a prior conviction. Both Bowling and Oldham were arrested.

4. Theft A misdemeanor
