(Evansville, Ind.) – Heartland Division of the American Liver Foundation is inviting you to join them along with thousands of people from coast to coast to become part of their online movement.

Now through May 30, you are invited to the movement to build awareness and community and change the face of liver health through the Virtual Liver Life Walk.

The goal of this online event is to raise funds to provide medical research grants and provide support programs and services for people living with liver disease, including those in Indiana.

Each year over 30 million people are affected by liver disease in the United States, including children and adults. Many diseases of the liver have silent symptoms that sometimes lead to late diagnoses.

This years Live Life walk may look a little different this year, but the mission remains the same.

This eight-week virtual experience includes guided mindfulness exercises, family-friendly wellness activities and inspiring video messages to bring together the ALF community in a safe and healthy environment. Virtual walkers who raise $100 will receive a National Walk Shirt and incentives will be rewarded for funds raised and action taken.
