Vevay Resident Taken For $200 In Scam

Calling residents

Vevay Police Department had a citizen get taken for $200 by this scam.

They will call you, telling you that you have a federal warrant, tell you to buy these cards and give them the number off the back. Don’t do it.

If these phone calls occur don’t give them anything.

The federal government will not call you if you have a warrant. They will show up to your house and take you in custody if you have a felony warrant.
