UTV Accident Send Two Injured To The Hospital

Near Osgood in Ripley Co.

Two people were injured in a UTV accident over the weekend in Ripley County.  

 

Ripley County Sheriff’s deputies responding to the accident on Saturday around 7:28 p.m. near the intersection of Michigan and Fairground roads in Osgood.

 

Deputies say the UTV, driven by Jesse Grow, of Osgood, was northbound on Old Michigan Road when the vehicle struck a mailbox. The vehicle continued of the road and struck a tree before coming to a rest on its side.

 

Grow was airlifted to IU Methodist in Indianapolis with unknown injuries.

 

A passenger, David Cornett, of Greensburg, was transported to Margaret Mary Health in Batesville for treatment of injuries sustained.

 

The Ripley County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by Osgood Police, Milan Police, Ripley County EMS and Osgood Fire.
