Two Facing Burglary Charges Following Jan. 29 Incident

(Madison, Ind.) - The Madison Police Department has made a second arrest in connection with a residential burglary that occurred on January 29 in the 700 block of West Third Street. 

On February 3, Madison Police executed a search warrant on a residence in the 400 block of Moody Park Lane, in addition to narcotics, police recovered the items stolen from January 29. Joshua Koons, who was present when the warrant was executed, was charged in connection to the burglary. 

On February 4, Madison Police Patrolman Jared Sweet continued his investigation into the burglary, which has led to the arrest of Stephanie M. Kloss 33, Madison, Indiana.  Kloss faces preliminary alleged charges of residential burglary (level 4 felony) and theft (class A misdemeanor).  

Kloss is currently incarcerated at the Jefferson County Jail where she awaits her initial hearing on the alleged charges.  Stephanie Kloss has the presumption of innocence until otherwise.
