Troopers Act on Tip and Find Wanted Person and Dope

At a residence in Austin

Tuesday evening, troopers from the Indiana State Police Post at Sellersburg received a tip that a man wanted on a warrant out of Clark County, IN was hiding at a residence located at 1110 York Road in Austin. 

After making entry into the residence the wanted subject, Robert Wolfe, 38, living in Austin, was located and apprehended. While apprehending Robert Wolfe, troopers noticed items commonly associated with drug use and applied for and received a search warrant for the residence. During a search of the residence multiple pieces of drug paraphernalia and approximately 13 Grams of suspected Methamphetamine were located. Robert Wolfe was incarcerated on his Clark County, IN warrant and he was also charged with Dealing in Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Cocaine or Narcotic Drug, Maintaining a Common Nuisance and Possession of Paraphernalia.

Carla Bray, 41, of Austin, was also at the residence and was charged with Visiting a Common Nuisance.
