Trimble Co. Schools To Childcare On NTI Fridays

The school will be open on Fridays to students in grades K through 6 that are enrolled for in-person learning.

(Trimble County, Ky.) – Trimble County students who chose the in-person option will be returning to the classroom on Monday, September 28.

Once school begins, students will be meeting Monday through Thursday with non-traditional instructional (NTI) days every Friday.

The school will be open on Fridays to students in grades K through 6 that are enrolled for in-person learning and whose parents/guardians work outside of the home. This program will begin on October 16, which is the Friday after fall break.

Milton and Bedford Elementary Schools will be providing NTI day childcare on from 7:45 a.m. until 3:15 p.m. every Friday, on these days breakfast and lunch will be provided to childcare students and the Healthy at School Guidelines will be followed.

For any child that needs to stay beyond 3:15 p.m., Trimble County offers the ACES program. ACES operates daily at MES and BES from 3:15 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for $8 per day.

The $8 fee is for ACES only, there is not a cost for NTI childcare.

If the school will need to close their facilities to in-person instruction, NTI childcare will not be available. This is only a provided service while in-person instruction is permissible.

To request NTI childcare, you can complete this form by Wednesday, September 30.
