Threat came from out of the country
Trimble Co. Junior Senior High was put into a soft lock down Wednesday afternoon after one of their students received a message threatening in nature from an unidentified source.
Law enforcement was at the school while school staff investigated the source of the message.
At the time, they had no reason to believe that any of the students were in danger. However, they took every precaution to ensure the students safety.
The Kentucky State Police E Crimes Unit was able to determine the Snapchat threat sent to the student originated in England. They have no reason to believe the students are in danger.
