(Vevay, Ind.) – The Town of Vevay unveiled its new logo on Tuesday night at the town council regular monthly meeting.

The design was created by Rachel Fairfield from Signarama. Her concept captured the aesthetic of the downtown area.

Not only was the new logo unveiled, but Switzerland County High School students were recognized for creating a logo plaque that will be on permanent display at Town Hall.

Braxton May, Nathaniel Williams and Daniel Darbro created the plaque under the tutelage of Wade Hughes, instructor of manufacturing trade class at the high school.

“We couldn’t be happier with the results and hope it lasts generations to come as our stamp in the world,” reads a statement from the Town of Vevay.
