Tornado's Sweep Across Illinois, Indiana And Ohio

Pendleton, IN and Dayton, OH hit hard

It could be a while before police and local leaders know just how bad the damage is from central Indiana's latest round of storms. 

Forecasters say a line of severe thunderstorms cut across the state last night. 

There are a handful of reports of tornadoes. 

 

The town of Pendleton, in Madison County, took a direct hit. 

 

There are no reports of any deaths in Pendleton, but local emergency managers say as many as 75 homes have been destroyed.

 

Storms also hit in Illinois and Ohio.

Dayton received major damage from the tornado. Over 5 million without power in the Dayton area.
