Thank Dispatchers During National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week

They serve as an unseen, but vital link in keeping law enforcement officers and the public safe at all times day or night.

(Jefferson County, Ind.) – This week is National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week nationwide.

This week April 12- 18 is a time to set aside to recognize the more than 200,000 individuals throughout the United States, who play critical roles in the delivery of public safety services.

These men and women provide a lifeline to both citizens in need and officers in the field. They serve as an unseen, but vital link in keeping law enforcement officers and the public safe at all times day or night.

Throughout the week or any time for that matter if you see any of the following people make sure you thank them for the things that they do for the county.
