SWITZERLAND COUNTY, Ind. — Indiana Department of Transportation maintenance crews are scheduled to close State Road 56 west of Vevay on or after Wednesday, July 24, to complete a culvert replacement in Switzerland County.

The closure will take place approximately five and a half miles west of Vevay between Spring Branch Road and Patton Hollow Road. The closure is expected to take up to one day, weather permitting.  Crews plan to begin work at 8 a.m. and complete work by approximately 5 p.m. the same evening.
