JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ind. — Indiana Department of Transportation maintenance crews are scheduled to close State Road 56 east of Brooksburg on or after Monday, July 29, to complete a culvert replacement in Jefferson County.
The closure will take place approximately two and a half miles east of Brooksburg between East Lost Fork Road and Patton Hollow Road. The closure is expected to take up to one day, weather permitting. Crews plan to begin work at 8 a.m. and complete work by approximately 5 p.m. the same evening.
INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution and avoid distractions when traveling near work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
