Switzerland Co. Arrests Another Sexual Social Media Offender

Out of Owenton, KY

On November 19th, 30 year old, Jeffrey T. Smith of Owenton, KY was extradited from Kentucky to Switzerland Co. afterbeing arrested on a warrant issued by the Switzerland Circuit Court.

The warrant was issued after the conclusion of an investigation into Smith's online social media use.

Smith made an appearance in the Switzerland Circuit Court on November 20th to answer the charges of Child Solicitation and Dissemination of Matter Harmful to a Minor.

Smith is being held on a $5,000 cash bond at the Switzerland Co. Jail.
