Dave O’Mara, the project’s contractor, will construct the asphalt multiuse path along Main , Poplar and Center Streets and State Road 62 in widths of 30 to 40 feet.

As LPA sponsor, Clark County is responsible for 20 percent of the project cost.  The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) is funding 80 percent.

The Indiana Department of Transportation administers FHWA funding and oversees the project to assure compliance with federal standards.  Clark Dietz, an engineering consulting firm, is responsible for onsite supervision.
