Stolen Vehicle From Madison Leads Police From Indiana And Kentucky On Chase

Subject arrested

Last evening, the Trimble Co. Sheriff’s office, KSP and Madison PD pursued a stolen vehicle out of Madison.

The pursuit came into Bedford on 421 and continued east on 42.

Tire deflation devices were used on the vehicle just before the Carroll County line and it was rendered inoperable.

The driver, Joseph Morrison, 40, fled from the vehicle and swam across the Little KY River.

Morrison allegedly surrendered to police at the Carroll County Memorial Hospital in Carrollton, early Thursday morning and was lodged at the Carroll County Regional Detention Center in Carrollton at 5:06 a.m. Thursday. He may face additional charges in Indiana.
