Stolen Vehicle From Indianapolis Lands Two Behind Bars

Driver of car was wanted on warrants in Florida

                                

Jennings County Sheriff’s Deputies were alerted to a possible stolen vehicle out of Indianapolis that had exited County Squire Lakes on April 4th 2023. Deputies were not able to locate the vehicle at that time. Later in the shift Deputy Michael Watts and Deputy John Amis observed the Silver Dodge Caliber pass them and enter into the main gate of County Squire Lakes off State Road 7.

Deputies were able to make contact with the driver and passenger in the vehicle. Both were arrested for theft and the driver had outstanding warrants out of Florida. Both were booked into the Jennings County Jail.
