Stay connected during the 2024 legislative session

Examine important issues impacting Hoosiers.

                                         alex zimmerman

As 2024 begins, so does Indiana's legislative session, from Jan. 8 through mid-March state representatives and senators will meet at the Statehouse to examine important issues impacting Hoosiers.

While in session, I want to hear from constituents, and I encourage everyone to stay up-to-date and follow along with what is happening at the Statehouse.

Information on proposals for new laws I'm authoring, co-authoring or sponsoring can also be found on in.gov/h67 and clicking the "My Legislation" button. You can also visit the Indiana General Assembly's newly redesigned and improved website, iga.in.gov, for Information on bills, meeting times and livestreams. It's a great tool for Hoosiers looking to stay in the loop during session.

To receive regular updates from me, constituents can sign up for my e-mail newsletters by visiting in.gov/h67 and provide an email in the box labeled "Subscribe to eNews."

During my first legislative session, I will be serving on several committees including the House Roads and Transportation Committee, the House Utilities, Energy and Telecommunications Committee, and the House Veterans Affairs and Public Safety Committee. These committees are a key part of the legislative process, providing a platform for constituents to testify on issues important to them and lawmakers to vet legislation.

This is an exciting time and I look forward to my first session. I hope to hear from constituents throughout House District 67 so that I can best serve our communities. To contact me, email h67@iga.in.gov or call 317-232-9659.
