(Carrollton, Ky.) – The Carroll County Chamber of Commerce has announced that the St. Elizabeth mobile mammography unit will be stopping by the Carroll County Public Library on Friday, December 11.
The mobile unit will be there from 8:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the library located at 139 Court Street in Carrollton.
The St. Elizabeth mobile mammography unit offers state-of-the-art 2-D and 3-D mammography screenings. The unit is covered by most insurances, including Medicare and Medicaid.
St. Elizabeth suggests that women between the age of 35 to 40 get a baseline screening, and those 40 and over receive an annual screening.
Financial assistance is also available for those who qualify.
