The parade will be starting at 6:00 p.m. tonight at the elementary school.

(Hanover, Ind.) – It has been seven weeks since schools around the county have met for in-person instruction.
These seven weeks have been filled with zoom class meetings, or just simple phone calls and emails. Many teachers are missing seeing their students during this time, so this is why the teachers at Southwestern Jefferson County are having a parade.
The staff will be driving by and waving to their students. Students are encouraged to create signs and wave as the teachers pass by.
The parade will be starting at 6:00 p.m. tonight at the elementary school and following the route below, if you do not live within the route you are encouraged to sit in the parking lots that are along the route.
