Short Foot Pursuit Leads to Arrest in Carroll Co.

The individual was taken to the Carroll County Detention Center.

(Carroll County, Ky.) - Around 1:30 a.m., a Carroll County Deputy was patrolling on KY 36 East when he then entered the County Park. 

He observed a dark sedan in the back of the parking lot with a male inside. When he then started to conduct an investigation, the male was found to have a white powdery substance consistent with Heroin in the passenger seat of his vehicle. 

The driver then fled the scene on foot where he was then apprehended on foot. The driver was then charged with possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia, and fleeing and evading. 

The individual was taken to the Carroll County Detention Center.
