Shelby Energy Substation Vandalized on Friday Night

Nearly 1500 customers were affected in Milton

                                     

Friday night someone break into Shelby Energy's Milton substation cut the grounds and steal wire. Not only is this very dangerous but  left several without power for a few hours 

In order to get our substation back to operational they had to take the full substation down for about 3 hours. They back fed as many members as possible while they make the repairs.

Power was restored to customers around 4 pm on Saturday afternoon 

Anyone with any information about whom broke into the substation contact the Trimble County Sheriff's Department or Kentucky State Polce
