(Madison, Ind.) – Shawe Memorial students Marili Perez and Walt Stanley have been selected to participate in the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) later this month.

RYLA is a youth leadership training program for high school students that encourages them to take risks, be a supportive team member, grow in self-confidence, and develop leadership skills.

While this program is usually held at the Bradford Woods Outdoor Challenge Educational Facility, the 2020 event will be a virtual program with high school students from all across the state.
