(Madison, Ind.) – With many school sports and programs coming to a sudden halt due to the coronavirus many schools are finding ways to honor those students who are unable to participate in their regular programs.

If you drove past Shawe Memorial High School last night, you might have seen that multiple lights around the school fields on, this is was to honor all spring sports athletes.

“So many students are missing their spring sports this year. Shawe found a way to honor all of those students who were not able to play baseball, softball, tennis, golf, track or any other spring sport.    Shawe also wants to especially honor all those seniors that are missing their last spring sport.  Please take time a moment to tell those students you know how much you care about them,” said Phil Kahn, Prince of Peace Schools President.

Sports will return again for the fall season.
