Seven Tornadoes Touch Down In Indiana Memorial Day

 Forecasters say at least seven tornadoes touched down in Indiana on Memorial Day. 

The National Weather Service confirmed the tornado count yesterday. 

The largest storms were EF2 tornadoes that hit Pendleton in Madison County, Jalapa and Sweetser in Grant County, and the small towns of Macy and Silver Lake in Miami and Fulton counties.

  Forecasters say EF2 tornadoes can pack winds of up to 135 miles-per-hour.
