Section 8 Waiting List Opening In Jefferson, Jennings, and Scott Counties

Families should plan to be on the waiting list for one to four years

(Madison, Ind.) – Ohio Valley Opportunities (OVO) has announced that the Housing Choice Voucher Program Section 8 waiting list for Jefferson, Jennings, and Scott counties.

This program will be open from October 5 at 8:00 a.m. through October 9 at 5:00 p.m.

You will be required to create a WaitListCheck account have a valid e-mail in order to submit an application. If you have a disability where a reasonable accommodation to allow you equal access to the application process may be needed, you can contact OVO at (812) 265-5858 Ext 2 or awieczorek@ovoinc.org to request an accommodation.

Section 8 provides rental assistance to very low-income individuals and families. In order to apply for Section 8, applicants must first be placed on a waiting list for a voucher.

Families should plan to be on the waiting list for one to four years. Assistance is awarded on first-come-first-serve bases and by a preference system.
