Ripley County Receives Donation to Help with Purchasing PPE

This PPE will be distributed among local law enforcement agencies, fire departments, and long term care facilities, and more.

(Ripley County, Ky.) – Thanks to a $10,000 dollar donation from the Lions Club International, Ripley County is now able to use this money to purchase Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and disinfecting supplies to assist public safety agencies.

With the positive case numbers continuing to rise, COVID-19 response efforts continue to move forward in Ripley County. In an effort to support local response efforts, the Ripley County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) and the Ripley County Health Department worked together with the Lions Club International to purchase PPE and other supplies.

According to a release from Daily News, this PPE will be distributed among local law enforcement agencies, fire departments, and long term care facilities, and more.
