Pope John Students To Receive Free Meals Through Remainder Of School Year

The waiver is good through the end of the 2020-2021 school year or until the USDA funds run out.

(Madison, Ind.) – The free meal service for Shawe and Pope John students has been extended.

The school announced yesterday that USDA has provided a waiver that will allow every student at Shawe and Pope John to continue to receive free meals until June 30, 2021. The original waiver cut off date, December 31.

All of the lunches and breakfast choices will be available to your student at no charge. All ala carte choices will still be charged at the normal prices, as will secondary servings of any entrée.

The waiver is good through the end of the 2020-2021 school year or until the USDA funds run out.

The school is asking that if you had a previous balance before this program started that it will need to be paid.
