Person Detained Following Social Media Threat to Area School

Switzerland County Sheriff says no active threat is believed to exist and schools remain on normal schedule.

                                   

Switzerland County- This morning the Switzerland County Sheriff's Office received information of a potential school shooting made via Social Media.

A suspect has been indentified and is currently being detained pending further investigation.

Switzerland County Schools officials were notified of the situation 

There is no active threat to exist and schools are remaining on a normal schedule 

Further information will be released as it becomes available
