Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating an incident in which a Patriot man was recovered from Goose Creek after falling off a capsized personal watercraft (PWC).

Today at approximately 2:26 p.m., responders were dispatched to the Patriot boat ramp for a person who went under the water and never resurfaced.

The incident is still under investigation.

Other agencies assisting Indiana Conservation Officers on scene included the Switzerland County Sheriff’s Department, Switzerland County Emergency Response, and the Posey Township Volunteer Fire Department.
