The Madison Fire and Police Departments responded to the report of a structure fire.

(Madison, Ind.) - The Madison Fire and Police Departments responded to the report of a possible structure fire in the 1600 block of Oakhill Drive.
When crews arrived on scene all the residents of the home were outside, without injuries.
Upon arrival, light smoke conditions were light smoke conditions reported visible from the rear of the structure. There was a confirmed fire in the attic of the residence, and crews were able to control it in approximately 5 minutes. Fire crews then stayed on scene for approximately 2 hours removing ceilings and insulation to endure the fire was completely extinguished.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation by the Madison Fire Department.
