Nightly lane closures scheduled along I-65 near Sellersburg Starting Tonight

CLARK COUNTY, Ind. — The Indiana Department of Transportation along with International Road Dynamics, Inc. plans to conduct nightly lane closures next week along I-65 in Clark County. 

Nightly lane closures are scheduled to begin on or after Monday, September 25, between S.R. 60 and S.R. 311 near Sellersburg. Each closure will take place from approximately 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., while work is in progress. Maintenance crews will be performing gantry work, as well as removing the current signs and barriers that are in place.

The overnight lane closures are currently scheduled as follows:

  • Monday, September 25 - Tuesday, September 26 (weather permitting): Southbound I-65 right two lanes closed for gantry work (10 p.m. to 5 a.m.)
  • Tuesday, September 26 - Wednesday, September 27 (weather permitting): Southbound and northbound I-65 left two lanes closed for signage and barrier wall removal (10 p.m. to 5 a.m.)
  • Wednesday, September 27 - Thursday, September 28 (weather permitting): Southbound and northbound I-65 left two lanes closed for gantry work (10 p.m. to 5 a.m.)
  • Thursday, September 28 - Friday, September 29 (weather permitting): Northbound I-65 right two lanes closed for gantry work (10 p.m. to 5 a.m.)

INDOT reminds motorists to slow down, use caution and drive distraction-free in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
