New Times and Service For Switzerland Co. Sheriff's Office

(Switzerland County, Ind.) - In order to maintain compliance with the new guidelines and in an attempt to reduce public access into the facility, the Switzerland County Sheriff's Office has set new days and times for some services. 

Effective Monday, March 23 all handgun permits, tax warrant payments, notices to quit, and crash reports request will only be processed on Mondays and Thursdays from 8:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. 

The sheriff's office also recommends that anyone utilizing the lobby inmate visitation booths to schedule and conduct visits from home using a mobile device if possible. 

All deputies are still responding to all calls for service and maintaining a normal patrol schedule.
