Even with these new alternatives, quarantine can remain at 14 days.

(Indianapolis, Ind.) – The CDC has set new quarantine guidance.
During yesterday's media briefing on Wednesday, Governor Holcomb and Dr. Kristina Box outlined the new guidance.
Even with these new alternatives, quarantine can remain at 14 days.
1. Quarantine can end on Day 10 if the person has not had a COVID-19 test and has not developed any symptoms.
2. Quarantine can end on Day 7 if the person tests negative for COVID-19 on Day 5, 6, or 7 and no symptoms have developed.
According to the CDC, both alternative options require the quarantined person to adhere to strict practices of social distancing, mask wearing, hand washing, and watching for any symptoms through Day 14.
