Must have by October 2020
Clerk's offices across the state are rolling out new Kentucky IDs.
The new licenses are required to meet federal guidelines imposed in 2005.
Residents will have to get their pictures taken at a local clerk's office and be issued a temporary license until their new one comes in the mail.
Starting in October 2020, Kentucky residents will not be able to go through TSA or enter federal facilities without the new IDs.
